Our Team is Growing!

We are excited to share that the Shropshire Computers team has expanded. We’ve taken on our first employee!

The Story So Far

Andy and Robert established Shropshire Computers back in January 2023, having previously worked together at a large IT firm.

With over 40 years of IT experience between them, they had the knowledge and expertise to launch their own IT firm. Their mission was to work with small to medium-sized businesses in the local area, providing proactive IT support, which would include robust cybersecurity, cloud services, and slick IT infrastructure management.

Being two Shropshire lads, who have lived and worked in this county all their lives, naming their business after Shropshire made perfect sense. The business grew quickly, and in October 2024, we moved to our new base at the Business Development Centre on Stafford Park in Telford.

We now look after over 800 users across 54 clients. It has been fantastic to grow this rapidly and move the business forward by expanding our small team.

Our First Employee

In June this year, we welcomed our first employee, Matt Foster. Matt has nearly 9 years of experience in the IT industry; in fact, Robert and Andy first worked with Matt when he was an apprentice.

We’ve wanted to bring him on board for a long time, so we’re really pleased to finally have Matt and his talents at Shropshire Computers. Matt is our IT Engineer, helping us to deliver proactive support to our clients, while supporting Robert and Andy.

What’s Next?

With a growing team, Shropshire Computers can now welcome new clients. So, if your business is looking for reliable and professional IT support, get in touch with the team today.

We are also looking to offer our expertise at hands-on workshops. If you have a business in the Shropshire area and would like a workshop on IT, cybersecurity or AI, just let us know.

The future is bright for Shropshire Computers!
